The MS Gérard Schmitter is an intimate-sized Premium ship, measuring 110m long and 11.40m wide. It can accommodate 174 passengers, in 87 cabins spread over three decks. The size of each cabin is 13.50m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay.

Partially renovated in 2016, the ship takes on a sparkling and vintage look with its anise and chocolate colors. The houndstooth-type patterns recall the elegant outfits of ladies from the sixties. The cabins display retro photographs representing Parisian monuments.

Divertissements

The common areas are located on the upper deck and the cabins are spread over two decks and have large windows. Do not hesitate to go to the sun deck to relax! It is furnished with armchairs and sun loungers to allow you to relax while enjoying a panoramic view of the landscapes.

We offer an optional excursion program to enrich each itinerary. These are carefully selected, accessible to all, as close as possible to the cultures and traditions of the world. Choose between the “Classic” excursions which highlight the must-sees of the destination, combining culture, architecture and history, and the “Discovery” excursions which offer unusual tours, tastings of local products, helicopter tours and so much more!

The fine French gastronomy on board is an asset of our company. The meals are created by our head chef, Alain Bohn, member of the esteemed French association Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, which includes only 250 chefs from all over the world, and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs since 2013.

Tipping habits vary according to the country and culture. At Croisi Europe, tips are collected globally at the end of the trip and shared equally among all the crew members. This attention from our passengers allows us to show that they have appreciated the quality of the services and the attention that was given to them during the cruise, at all levels. How much should I leave? A tip of between £5 and £10 per day and per person is an average, but each passenger is free to give what he or she wishes. An envelope is left in your cabin during your last evening on board. Put it in the box provided for this purpose at the ship's reception desk when you disembark.
